Our country looks to graduates of West Point - the premiere leadership institution of the world - to lead proudly and to serve selflessly.

We exist to do MORE together, for our country and our Academy - especially right now.

During these unprecedented times, we send our most heartfelt condolences to the graduates and families affected by this year’s turmoil. We know everyone is grieving something. We are here to be a force of timely support, relevant change, and service to all.

As we embark on 2022, we remain committed to doing the hard work for OUR community. We are reminded of the Cadet Prayer passage that "encourage[s] us in our endeavor to live above the common level of life…make us to choose the harder right instead of the easier wrong, and never to be content with a half truth when the whole can be won." We encourage you to reflect on how you can continue to live the Army values and be a pillar in your community.

Here's how we will take on the new year::

(1) MENTORSHIP!  Whether during our monthly townhalls, during our mentor training sessions, or during one-on-one conversations within our community, we will continue to set the standard for engaged mentorship. Want to mentor current officers? Become a Grip Hands mentor!

(2) RECRUITING!  Representation matters and we need more people of color educating, training, and inspiring our Cadets. If you or someone you know (grad or non-grad) is interested in a West Point assignment, join our next Information Session hosted by current and former staff/faculty. We will kick off our inaugural Flipper Week Campaign to engage potential applicants across the country this February.

(3) NETWORKING!  Membership has value - the building of a stronger network! The Long Gray Line continues to need people like you to plug in and share your talents, treasures, and time. There is another version of you within our community that is looking forward to meeting you!

(4) FUNDRAISING!  We believe in impact investing. More than fundraising, this approach creates opportunities for our members and supporters to invest in causes that matter most to them. We will continue to partner with USMA and AOG on these endeavors and share lessons learned.

Stay tuned for more information on our two annual events, the 2022 Army/Navy Give Back and the 2022 Do More Together Virtual Summit.

Do More Together prioritizes our efforts around action, supporting Black & African American members of the Long Gray Line, and being an unstoppable force in our communities.

Welcome to 2022. Welcome to DOING MORE!

Sincerely,

dmT Co-Founders
