We believe that diversity and inclusion are critical to the success of any organization, therefore, the Cadets, staff, and faculty of the United States Military Academy should be representative of the society it serves. DMT works to increase the number and diversity of underrepresented staff, faculty, and Cadets.

Our “Building the Pipeline” Diversity Recruiting Strategy is a 12-month effort to increase the diversity of Cadet Candidates, the United States Corps of Cadets (USCC), the West Point Garrison and United States Military Academy (USMA) Staff and Faculty, and local leaders of the Association of Graduates (AOG) through West Point Societies.

Here’s how you can do more:

Phase 1: Staff and Faculty Recruiting

The First Edition of the “STAFF CALL!” DIVERSITY RECRUITING BROCHURE is available now!

Make sure your experience is heard! If you are a Do More Together member who previously served or is currently serving at West Point, let us know! You can be included in our next edition of the “STAFF CALL!” Diversity Recruiting Brochure.

Whether you will apply this year or in five years, it’s never too soon to start the process. Learn more by attending upcoming dmT Staff & Faculty Information Sessions.

Be a “dmT Ambassador!” We will deploy dmT members and supporters around the country to talk to HBCU ROTC Cadets, Army Officer Basic & Advanced Course students, chapters of The ROCKS, Inc., and West Point Societies. Stay tuned for more information on how you can sign up to tell the story of West Point in your community.

Sign up today for our next Information Session on March 16th!

Phase 2: PROJECT IMPACT Field Force Member Recruitment

Project Impact is the dmT population of Field Force members. We aim to increase the amount of Black/African American Cadets from your communities through outreach of volunteers such as yourself. Do More Together Field Force Representatives - both graduates AND non-graduates - can bolster diversity admissions to West Point. We encourage members of dmT to become a force in your local community and make an impact on the next generation!

If you are already are a Field Force Member, let us know!

Phase 3: Cadet Candidate Mentorship

Our trained dmT Grip Hands mentors share lessons learned, personal and professional experiences, successes, failures, and challenges with the new generation of West Point applicants.

Phase 4: ACCELERATE Networking Program

Get involved with your local West Point Society! Increasing representation at AOG begins in your local network of alumni and supporters. Click here to ensure your information is updated with AOG and sign up for Sallyport. Stay tuned for more information on the ”Accelerate” Networking Program!
